Our work experience placements are designed to cultivate your interest in art, design and the built environment.
Architecture & Urban Design
Potential candidates are presented with opportunities to be involved with the preparation of design proposals; planning applications; the creation of detailed drawings; attendance at client meetings; and liaising with a range of contractors including; engineers; surveyors; and other industry specialists.
Through first-hand experience, our placements will encourage you to develop a logical, analytical and creative approach to design. You will be encouraged to strengthen your visual awareness skills and eye for detail, helping you to master your drawing abilities both by hand and with CAD technology. In addition, you will be able to enhance a variety of additional competencies including; verbal and written communication skills; presentation skills; and time management. Graphic Design
Our graphic design placements will strengthen your skills and proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop), sharpen your eye for detail and increase your knowledge of print and production. Our placements will help you to enhance your written and verbal communications skills and your ability to interact with staff of all levels. We provide genuine opportunities, for you to develop creative solutions on live projects with real deadlines.
